Home Survey Company provides the best in pre-purchase home inspections by matching our wealth of technical knowledge, expertise and professionalism with the understanding and patience our customers deserve.

The inspectors at Home Survey Company have each completed an exhaustive training process. Our inspectors know where to look and what to look for. They go through the property with you explaining their findings, answering your questions, and making sure you understand.

Our customers receive a written report at the conclusion of the inspection. The building analysis report divides a home into 7 major systems:

  • Structural and Basement
  • Heating and Cooling
  • Plumbing and Bathroom
  • Electrical and Kitchen
  • Interior and Attic
  • Roofing and Exterior
  • Grounds

Each section has an easy to read checklist of the components of that system.

Special note from the Department of Housing and Urban Development....

HUD Secretary Andrew Cuomo has announced a new Homebuyer Protection Initiative in conjunction with National Homeownership Week (June 5-12). Under the initiative, homebuyers seeking FHA mortgages are required to sign a new form advising them to get a home inspection before proceeding to settlement. HUD will count the first $300 paid for a home inspection toward the required down payment on FHA loans.

In addition to HUD, the National Association of Realtors and the Mortgage Bankers Association of America are sponsoring the initiative. HUD stresses that home inspections are an investment that can save individual homeowners thousands of hard-earned dollars.
